The Acommodation : The concept behind our property is to offer a unique and private service and therefore most of our facilities are within the individual residences. We are located at the Northern end of Sairee Beach - about 600 meters from the restaurant and shopping of Sairee Village and about 300 meters from Sairee beach. The retreat comprises of three individual residences, lobby & service area, which is located on the upper part of the property. A scenic walkway through a lush green garden leads to each of the residences. Each residence offer the same facilities, but is unique with it's fit on the land, view, layout and pool. They are divided into two separate areas. The Living Space :

Welcome to our unique retreat : Our concept is simple: private eco-conscious Anankhira Villas for travelers who want more privacy and seclusion than a resort offers. Our retreat is tucked away in a lush tropical garden, on a gently sloping hillside overlooking The Gulf of Thailand beyond the coconut palms. Swaying coconut palms & a Balinese inspired architecture makes the small retreat blend into nature's garden, creating a tranquil space for guests appreciating a tropical, earthy luxurious atmosphere, with minimal interfearance and privacy. Wea are not a resort, but simply three individual and unique residences, where guests can enjoy the view, a small pool and a romantic tropical setting, between venturing out and around on Koh Tao on their own. The three residences are all unique - each it's own space - slightly different from one another - flowing with the topography of the landscape, the boulders & the coconut palms. At the retreat, buildings have bowed for nature, with boulders forming parts of living space, bathrooms and terraces and coconut palms growing through the tatched roofs of the villas. |

Where is Koh Tao : Koh Tao is located in The Gulf of Thailand, just a short boat ride from our famous big sister Koh Samui. Getting here from Koh Samui : Most guests would typically be arriving from Koh Samui and the only possible way is by boat as there is no airport on Koh Tao. It is possible to fly to Koh Samui directly from both Phuket, Krabi, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and a number of other destinations with www.bangkokair.com. From Koh Samui we recommend you the 1 1/2 hours voyage with Koh Tao TIckets which leaves Bangrak Beach on Koh Samui twice daily: at 8.00 am and 13:30 midday. Bookings can be made online or we will of course be happy to arrange the transfer for you ahead of time. There are other options, but this is by far the best. Regardless of which option you choose you should be aware that the very last boat leaving to Koh Tao is 13.30 midday. The Ferry returns from Koh Tao to Koh Samui daily at 10 am and 3 pm. Should you choose the later departure then it is not adviced to have booked flights earlier than 18 pm, just to allow for details and transfer to the airport. Getting here from Chumphon : Getting to Chumphon from Bangkok is quite easily done with either bus or train. Both options are easily bookable from Bangkok but. Again Koh Tao Tickets offers several combined ticket options. It is also possible to fly to Chumphon airport but not recommendable as it would be about the same price as flying to Koh Samui and the boat ride is longer. From Chumphon there are quite a few different operators offering to take care of the voyage, again The Lomprayah Catamaran is the best choice with a travel time of around 2 hours. Bookings can be made online. Getting here from Surat Thani : Travellers from Phuket & Krabi would typically need to go via Surat Thani. However, boat options are limited and and the only direct boat is an uncomfortable night boat leaving Surat Thani every night at 11 pm. We do not recommend coming to Koh Tao via Surat Thani. |
